Special thanks to Donna Forsberg for helping revive the center piece of the park. Weeds, dogs running rampant in the garden, and other forms of neglect had led many to wonder what the future holds for the once thriving garden. With decades of gardening experience Donna has donated her time as a docent at the Lincoln Park conservatory, she has adopted various public spaces around the city, as well as running her Graceland West neighborhood garden walk for years. She is always doing more to inform others about the importance of plants to the ecosystem. She asks the dog owners to please keep the dogs out of the garden and if the plants "look thirsty" feel free to give them a sprinkle!
